ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

• Handle full set of accounts.
• Preparation of monthly financials and statistics for the Board.
• Prepare the yearly Budget and monitor actual expenditure against budget.
• Track and report the usage of grants and subventions.
• Conduct annual review with the various departments on their budgets and financial projections.
• Manage cashflow, which includes but is not limited to cashflow optimisation & cashflow forecast.
• Oversee preparation and submission of annual records of donations to IRAS for IPC tax-deduction.
• Review and ensure compliance to organisation’s finance policies and SOPs.
• Ensure adherence to financial governance and compliance guidelines as stipulated by the relevant regulatory bodies (Registry of Societies (ROS), Commissioner of Charities (COC), etc)
• Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors.
• Support and explore organisation best practice standards to enhance effective financial internal controls and management.
• Coordinate and attend Finance Committee (FC) meetings, including writing of FC minutes.
• Supervise and mentor Finance Executive.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A polytechnic diploma or degree in accounting or equivalent, such as ACCA.
• At least 5 years of full-time work experience handling complete set of accounts.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong working understanding of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Charity Accounting Standards (CAS) and financial requirements in the Code of Governance for Charities.
• Only open to Singapore Citizens and PRs.
