Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor/ Master in Finance/ Accounting/ related field or equivalent, preferably qualified ACCA/ ISCA;
  • Min. 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial accounting, internal control, taxation and/or fund management in oil/energy trading companies;
  • Able to establish and implement financial plans, budgets and budgetary controls;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, familiar with SAP and CXL System;
  • Knowledge of China’s business culture and environment and world’s financial and economic conditions;
  • Seasoned, resilient, independent and resourceful, strategic-minded, highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and an ability to demonstrate sound business judgment, even in ambiguous situations;
  • Possess excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese-speaking stakeholders both orally and in writing as well as to prepare and proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Finance in the overall management of Finance department;
  • Support the CFO to establish a sound financial management and accounting system for the Company. Assist to organise the formulation and revision of financial management policies, manuals and relevant regulations of the Company and supervise the implementation. Review the financial management policies of subsidiaries;
  • Assist to improve financial internal controls, monitor and enhance the Company’s payment approval process, including but not limited to key control points like approval authority, setting of expense management by responsible departments, accounting and payment processing;
  • Assist to establish and improve the fixed asset management system, provide guidance to subsidiaries to carry out asset management work;
  • Assist to establish and enhance the Company’s financial information system, improve the standardisation, automation and refinement of accounting treatments, bookkeeping, payment approval and processing. Strengthen the implementation and promotion of the Company’s financial information system;
  • Assist to organise the formulation of the Company’s accounting policies and methods, unified management of accounting ledgers and financial reporting, as well as organising the implementation, supervision and inspection;
  • Assist in the Company’s account receivables management, organise and carry out the analysis of receivables in a timely manner, coordinate and supervise the collection of overdue receivables;
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of budget and controllable expenses. Timely report to the Management of issues noted from budget monitoring, and organise the relevant departments to further analyse the budget completion progress and put forward relevant suggestions;
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.
