Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments to Lodges and Treehouses, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. That’s why it’s the largest team on each Village.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in leading a team, including string influencing skills
  • Management qualification e.g. NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
  • Management experience within the hospitality or facilities industry
  • Management experience of large teams of people
  • Financial control experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Overseeing and providing guidance to the Housekeeping Zone Managers to ensure all Housekeeping processes are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Deputising for the Accommodation Services Manager in their absence, for example attend meetings on their behalf and ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Producing and analysing key statistics, identifying trends and following up on any adverse results
  • Participating in disciplinary and grievance investigations / hearings to ensure relevant issues are dealt with formally
  • Providing advice and coaching to managers
  • Participating / assisting with midweek and weekend Duty Management
  • Producing the Housekeeping divisional budget update on a 4-weekly basis
  • You will support with facilitating and developing a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place and your team are actively contributing towards this
