Description:

(A) Function:

  • To support supervisors to plan the Global Sales and Marketing activities independently of Polyolefin products and manage the organization of the global sales team to deliver the budget.
  • To lead and coach overseas agents to meet their individual budgeted volume targets, maximize the value of sales and effectively manage key customer/distributors interfaces in support of the business strategy while upholding the company policies.
  • Extensive experience of the market and on job, the incumbent must be able to come up with business plan and budget in order to achieve corporate goal.

(B) Job Description

1) The incumbent’s main duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following :

  • Compliant with safety standards and company policies in the course of conducting business activities assigned to the individual.
  • Set up credit line, review and analyze financial status of customers and manage credit control in accordance with the company’s requirements.
  • Accountability for development and execution of annual sales plan, including pricing initiatives, and customer margin management.
  • Coordinating with overseas agents for potential customers of expanding sales of Polyolefin chemicals.
  • Correspondence & coordination with suppliers, clients & our overseas agents.
  • Planning & strategizing with suppliers to achieve company short & long-term goal.
  • Half yearly reviews on sales budget set with suppliers / distributors
  • Prepare monthly sales result / report or as and when required
  • Responsible for managing all suppliers/distributors activities within the territory by providing guidance and active support such as joint customer visits.
  • Identifying new customers, creating synergy and maximizing business opportunity share from the customers
  • Supporting sale presentations to overseas agents and customers for new product launch
  • Managing and developing all aspects of the key customer relationship in support of the agreed sales plan for the region including complaint management.
  • Managing and coordinate customer support activities, allowed by the principal, for the assigned customer base and managing assigned personnel to maximize profit, growth and industry awareness within the boundaries set in the product marketing strategies / objectives.
  • Monitoring and reporting market information and trends in relevant industries and informing to stakeholders, business/senior management.
  • As deputy of supervisor to participate in cross-functional consultation or decision-making role.
  • Managing end user relations by coordinating agent activities, technical services, marketing, distribution in areas.
  • Improving and driving support process to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
  • Leading and coaching sales support for sales management activities

2) Able to travel frequently on business trips. Entertainment with guests and business associates in the evening are sometimes required.

(C) Requirements

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • Degree holder in law is preferred to check contracts
  • International trading administration knowledge including settlement such as L/C operation
  • More than 6 years Chemicalbusiness experience especially for Saudi Arabia and Japan manufacturers/customers. Well-developed negotiating skills to handle all level of audience.
  • Proficiency in spoken & written Japanese/English/Chinese to communicate with our diverse base of customer & manufacturers.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Teams (High Presentation level is required)
  • Standard accounting skill
  • Able to work well as team player
