A magnificent power station from the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River (Maiwar), Brisbane Powerhouse is a premier destination for contemporary culture and art. With over 1,750 performances and events each year, we offer a diverse program of music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, in-conversation, and digital arts.
We are looking for a Deputy Production Manager on a six-month, full-time contract to maintain our high standards and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will coordinate and execute production activities, supporting the senior production team to ensure smooth operations for all events.
To succeed in this position, you will understand production management and event coordination and be familiar with the technical aspects of event production, including lighting, sound, and staging. You will also be willing to learn and have excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
