  One the UK’s leading fintech banks has had a vacancy arise for a senior treasury manager to join the team as a deputy to the current treasurer. This bank focus on providing retail and corporate banking services and so would be looking for someone who has previously worked this sector

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Perform balance sheet optimisation activities from a liquidity, capital, IR and FX perspective
• Ensure cost effective funding for the business
• Work on capital and liquidity stress testing. Developing and update the ILAAP and ICAAP
• Manage balance sheet management activities. Namely forecasting, interest rate and FX exposures
• Maintain departmental compliance with the internal capital and liquidity risk appetite and external regulatory liquidity requirements
• Lead on presentations to ALCO
• Regulatory horizon scanning and interpretation or regulations. Action planning bank’s responses

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree educated in a numerate subject
• Experience working in bank ALM or bank treasury role
• Experience with ILAAP and ICAAP processes
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including strong written and verbal skills
• Strong Excel skills, and ideally experience with Reuters/Bloomberg, and treasury system
