DEPUTY TUNNEL MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee tunnel construction activities to ensure they are delivered with good quality and on time.
• Supervise Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) tunnelling teams to ensure the works meet statutory and HSE requirements.
• Formulate work procedures related to TBM tunnelling / Pipe Roofing works for operation, assembly, launch, and dismantling activities.
• Planning and scheduling manpower and plant for TBM tunnelling works.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of tunnelling experience in managing tunnelling works of similar scale, complexity and ground condition.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• This role is an 18 months contract position with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.
