Acting as an effective role model and demonstrating personal commitment to continuous support of the Ward Sister in improvements, taking responsibility for the leadership and supervision of the team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Paediatric department. We are looking for a Deputy Ward Sister/Charge nurse to join our friendly, supportive and motivated team of Paediatric Nurses.
We provide acute care of medical paediatric patients up to the age of 16 years. The ward has 16 beds and a 4 bedded high dependency unit, and works alongside a 24 hour paediatric assessment unit and 20 bedded surgical ward.
Our team is passionate about providing outstanding paediatric care. The foundation of developing a close team are rooted in the health boards values " working together , always improving, caring for each other”

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
