The opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Design & Site to join our team. In this role you will ensure the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for a designated Project through activities of geotechnical design, estimating, technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control based on ACCIONA standards. Ensures effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and all other project activities relevant to work crew.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead geotechnical design work, update drawings/documentation, and submit as-built drawings as needed.
  • Perform estimating tasks, analyze technical data for project requirements, and liaise with stakeholders through site visits.
  • Manage estimate, design, and tender preparation; attend handover meetings to relay project details to key staff.
  • Provide expert advice to Project Managers/Engineers and conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant tertiary education.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Experience in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
