Description:
We are currently searching for a Design Assistant to join the Design team based in our beautiful head office in Alexandria. This role is permanent and full time.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update product range pages in line with critical path deadlines.
- Inform key stakeholders across the wider business of changes regarding product attributes and range structure.
- Support the design team in creating and updating detailed CADs to represent the range.
- Support the design team in trend and competitor research, including silhouette, colour and fabrication.
- Support the design team in manifesting range review documents.
- Supporting the design team with creating design spec sheets to handover to wider product team.
- Create and update print artwork and liaise with all suppliers for development.
- Develop print and check strike offs / handlooms / knit downs for SMS deadlines.
- Ensuring all colour is in line with design direction and Assembly Label standards.
- Responsible for tracking all fabric development and ensuring developments are finalised in line with the critical path deadlines.
- Source and develop new fabrics and trims in line with design direction per season.
- Responsible to engage and drive self-development alongside the Design Manager
