Description:

Are you ready to launch your career in interior design and customer service with an exceptional team? Look no further! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design Consultant to join our extraordinary team. As a Design Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class customer experience to Caivan homeowners and contribute to the development of vibrant communities in Ottawa. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a genuine passion for design and delivering exceptional customer service, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
The schedule includes working Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We value your commitment and expect some travel, so reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Immerse yourself in the creative world of interior design by assisting customers with their interior color and construction detail selections.
  • Take pride in showcasing the benefits and construction details of our homes during the Pre-Drywall walk, ensuring that customers feel informed and confident every step of the way.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first introduction to the final stages of home completion, following our established processes.
  • Welcome customers to our Design Studio by hosting open house hours, guiding them through the available options, and answering any questions they may have.
  • Provide vital administrative support in the Design Studio, including labeling samples, adding initial cabinetry custom costs, and ensuring accurate costing and marking up.
  • Demonstrate your problem-solving skills by resolving customer escalations within the department and being the first point of contact for dispute resolution.
  • Ensure seamless scheduling of all necessary appointments for customers, with support from the Coordinator, and meticulously review customer quotes for accuracy.
  • Embrace flexibility and go above and beyond by taking on any other duties as required.
