JT Recruit are looking for a Design Engineer to work in Derby DE1 for a fantastic client who creates and markets innovative, cost-effective platforms, systems, and goods for communications and national security applications.
This is a permanent role with a negotiable pay rate depending on experience
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Design engineer.
- 10+ year’s experience
- Proficient in NX software
- Gas turbine knowledge or other high speed rotating machinery
- Actually does designing of components that are manufactured.
- Experience with designing at part of a larger assembly for one-off use.
- Experience in incorporating instrumentation: pressure tapping’s, thermocouples, strain gauges (desirable)
- Be highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Can work under the minimum of supervision to tight deadlines.
