Description:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee design department tasks like technical drawings, planning applications, and resources, while coordinating meetings and communication with clients and consultants.
- Make sure all projects meet relevant codes and standards, including building regulations.
- Create and monitor design schedules for projects, managing any delays to keep the overall timeline on track.
- Manage design risks by creating and maintaining risk registers according to regulations.
- Coordinate with various consultants such as engineers, architects, and designers.
- Attend and sometimes lead client and design team meetings.
- Address and resolve any issues raised during production or on-site, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Improve designs for better manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure timely production and delivery of project Bills of Materials (BOM) and Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
