Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work in consultation with the Operations Specialist/Coordinator to plan, design and maintain the Sales/Design Studio Showroom.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure product availability, i.e. reselects.
  • Help to enhance the customer experience through assisting with research and analysis of trends for potential improvements to our customer experience such as online catalogues, magazines, interactive shopping/selection tools (Online platforms), customer portal etc. and social media comparatives.
  • Assist with re-selections for discontinued materials & products in a timeline that assists progress of the construction team and their expectations.
  • Assist with setup and maintain displays in studio that pertain to Design Studio offerings.
  • Responsible in assisting with ordering, labelling and placement of samples under the supervision. Updating samples as required.
  • Document, update and maintain the Design Studio process and inventory under Supervision of Merchandiser.
  • Ensure Design Studio is tidy and organized and is always in a presentable condition.
  • Assist in future online launches.
  • Assist in sending out registered letters for NSF payments and scheduled or missed design appointments.
  • Field and research inquiries from other departments (Contracts, Construction, Customer Care and Finance)
  • Assist with calling homeowners and booking appointments or following up on payments.
  • Ensure the Design Studio space is kept tidy and assist Operations Special/Coordinator when required.
  • Help with organizing team meetings and providing minutes to Management.
  • Assist with general design studio operational needs.
  • Provide backup coverage to Division reception desk as required.

What you bring

  • Minimum of two (2) years Customer Service and/or office administrative experience
  • Interest and passion for interior design and all related components.
  • Basic understanding of residential construction and scheduling in Highrise and Midrise projects.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills when working with the internal team and external trades/Suppliers.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be self-directed, and work independently.
  • Ability to be creative, and take initiative on projects.
