TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Designer/Drafter II in Germantown, TN and Atlanta, GA.
This role will create CAD models and technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions, and diagrams. This role works closely with engineers and other professionals to create and improve products.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s Degree or Technical School and/or an experience equivalent in a manufacturing environment required.
- Three or more years of design/drafting experience.
- Ability to understand requirements and goals of projects to produce workable designs according to specifications required.
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend technical drawings and survey data.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used drafting concepts, practices and procedures.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with 3D modeling required. SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Must be able to understand and closely follow instructions and rough product designs and specifications.
