Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, or similar tools, with a solid understanding of design principles.
  • Experience with design systems and responsive design, ensuring designs are adaptable and consistent.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions effectively.
  • A user-focused mindset and collaborative attitude with an understanding of technical realities and constraints.
  • An autonomous drive to contribute meaningfully and push for individual growth, persevering in the face of challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on pixel-perfect design, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a UX/UI designer who will work on the experience for our two main product suites. Our e-commerce experience for our 4 unique brands and our associate mobile applications. You will also be supporting the evolution and creation of our headless design system which will improve the design process and streamline hand-offs for developers.As a UX Designer at Aldo Group, you will be part of a dynamic team of two other designers that are dedicated to creating exceptional, accessible digital experiences. Using human-centered design, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions that elevate our brands and drive business success. Your work will directly impact millions of customers worldwide, informing the future of retail and fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the strategy and design direction for web products and mobile apps.
  • Deliver clear storytelling about consumer needs and business opportunities.
  • Work in a highly energetic fashion with product management, stakeholders, developers, and content teams.
  • Create scalable designs supporting unique UI variations per brand.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems for our product suites.
  • Develop documentation and presentations for approval/handoff.
  • Design and ship high-quality features and product enhancements.
  • Research and propose new services and features, preparing preliminary designs, states, and flows.
  • Work autonomously to propose emerging opportunities based on market research and consumer feedback.
  • Launch, prototype, and review user tests in order to iterate on designs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the internal process through new tools, processes, organization, and documentation.
  • Audit existing flows, and features while proposing possible design enhancements that focus on an iterative approach to delivery.
  • Work flexibly on broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical features.
