Description:

Cognizant has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Deskside Support Engineer to join our thriving team. This full-time Support Engineer role is based in Brisbane and offers an attractive salary and benefits. You’ll be joining a collaborative and inclusive team seeking to be at the forefront of the business unit and deliver outstanding projects.
As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will provide desktop support to authorised users as necessitated by the circumstances of the requester (e.g. incidents, service requests, requests of information) and service levels. You will also implement Newcrest-approved software for endpoint devices.

In your first few weeks in this Deskside Support Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Deploy a pre-tested image of the desktop operating system to end-user workstations on request
  • Deploy desktop applications to end-user workstations subject to approval
  • Undertake administration activities pertaining to email configuration.
