Description:
You might be right for Robert Half’s new job opening, if you are a Help Desk Support Analyst with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. Self-starters with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment will thrive in this position. Located in the Vaughan, Ontario, this Help Desk Support Analyst role is permanent and fully onsite!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must own a vehicle
- 3+ years experience in a similar role providing on-site support on hardware, servers, VOIP, POS terminal
- Microsoft Shop/Exchange
- VMware
- Active Directory
- New employee set-up (extension, email, access, hardware, key card)
- Good knowledge of networking (routers, switches, Cisco Meraki, VLAN, Subnets)
- Strong ability to speak technical to non-technical, with 3rd party vendors and stakeholders daily
- Assets: manufacturing/distribution experience, familiar with ERP systems
- 3+ years of desktop support or other related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of VMware
- Demonstrated knowledge of VLAN
- Experience with Veeam
- Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Adeptness in Veeam Backup
- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
