Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Despatch Customer Service Representative at CARTERS WHANGAREI you will have a key focus on providing the best service to our trade customers. This is a fast-paced physical role where your skills and experience driving a forklift, serving customers and ensuring deliveries go out on time will come in handy within our dry shed, panel, and timber yard areas.

  • Identifying the right products quickly and efficiently for our customers.
  • Picking, Assembling and loading customer orders.
  • Coordinating day to day transportation requirements managing the loading and despatching of orders
  • Processing sales documentation.
  • Loading and unloading vans and delivery trucks.
  • Monitoring yard stock and product display levels to ensure they are in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Uphold the high safety standards of the site.

  • Basic computer skills
  • Physically fit - this role with on occasion require heavy lifting.
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence is a MUST.
  • Forklift licence (F endorsed and Osh Certificates are desirable).
  • Previous experience working in a similar yard environment is preferable.
  • Building industry knowledge is advantageous
