Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Despatch Customer Service Representative at CARTERS WHANGAREI you will have a key focus on providing the best service to our trade customers. This is a fast-paced physical role where your skills and experience driving a forklift, serving customers and ensuring deliveries go out on time will come in handy within our dry shed, panel, and timber yard areas.
- Identifying the right products quickly and efficiently for our customers.
- Picking, Assembling and loading customer orders.
- Coordinating day to day transportation requirements managing the loading and despatching of orders
- Processing sales documentation.
- Loading and unloading vans and delivery trucks.
- Monitoring yard stock and product display levels to ensure they are in accordance with safety regulations.
- Uphold the high safety standards of the site.

- Basic computer skills
- Physically fit - this role with on occasion require heavy lifting.
- Full NZ Drivers Licence is a MUST.
- Forklift licence (F endorsed and Osh Certificates are desirable).
- Previous experience working in a similar yard environment is preferable.
- Building industry knowledge is advantageous
