Description:

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dessert Take-Away Shop Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and making of a variety of desserts and herbal drinks, manage cashier duties, engage in proactive sales activities, maintain cleanliness, and handle opening and closing procedures to ensure a pleasant customer experience and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Dessert and Drink Preparation :Assist in the preparation and creation of a variety of desserts, including but not limited to cakes, pastries, and frozen treats. Prepare and mix herbal drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all desserts and drinks meet our quality standards.
  • Cashier Duties :Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely. Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
  • Sales and Customer Service :Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Provide product recommendations and promote special offers and new items. Upsell products to increase average transaction value. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly. Gather customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance :Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the kitchen, serving area, and seating area. Perform regular cleaning tasks such as wiping counters, mopping floors, and washing dishes. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Shop Opening and Closing :Perform opening procedures, including setting up the shop, preparing ingredients, and ensuring everything is ready for the day. Perform closing procedures, including cleaning up, securing the shop, and preparing for the next day’s operations. Ensure all equipment is properly turned off and secured.
  • Sales Improvement :Implement and participate in sales promotions and marketing initiatives. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with the team to develop and execute strategies to attract and retain customers. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a food service or retail environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate registered with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) *If you do not have a valid food hygiene certificate, the Company will arrange the training and certification
  • Able to work in evening(s) on weekdays, weekend(s), public holiday(s) or irregular working hour(s) when required
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to improving sales.
