Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Developer Advocate (DA) to join the Developer Experience organization, focusing on AI Engineering. As a resident of the AWS AI Loft in San Francisco, you will engage AWS and non-AWS communities, drive our efforts in this fast-evolving field, which involves building agentic systems, and experimentation with LLMs. In this role, you will work with the community, partners like Anthropic, Cohere, Langchain, and others to explore solutions, publish content, and speak at events.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
    Key job responsibilities
As an AWS Developer Advocate on AI Engineering, your role is to champion innovation and inspire developers worldwide. You’ll be deeply involved with cutting-edge communities of early adopters who are exploring the possibilities of GenAI.
On any given day, you might deliver a compelling presentation at a major developer event, showcasing how GenAI can revolutionize software development. The next day, you could be hosting events at the AWS AI Loft in San Francisco, collaborating directly with a group of AI pioneers, experimenting with novel use cases and pushing the limits of what’s possible on AWS.
You’ll act as a bridge between these innovative communities and Amazon’s engineers. You’ll gather insights and feedback from developers on the frontlines, then translate that knowledge to influence the roadmap for Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q Developers, and other services. Your technical depth and community connections will ensure AWS remains the go-to environment for AI Engineering.
Whether running coding challenges that spark creativity or hosting workshops that demystify GenAI, you’ll inspire developers to think big and explore new frontiers. You’ll be at the forefront of the AI revolution, creating opportunities for others to experience the transformative power of this technology.
    About the team
The Developer Experience team aims at showing what the future of development looks like so developers can move towards it. Our goal is inspire developers around the world.
