YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of C# and SQL (MSSQL / PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline Azure DevOps and an understanding of Git for managing code repositories and implementing branching strategies.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration, including tools like SOAP UI and Postman.
  • Experience with XSLT for data transformations and the ability to analyze and develop existing code collaboratively with the team.
  • Experience building user interfaces with Microsoft WPF and a basic understanding of user experience principles to ensure intuitive and user-friendly designs.
  • High degree of personal responsibility, customer orientation, friendliness, and commitment.
  • Solid team collaboration and communication abilities, coupled with a natural inclination towards agile methodologies and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and German, in both written and spoken forms. Basic knowledge in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in shipping logistics, including supply chain management or shipping operations, is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new software functions with a focus on sustainable, maintainable, quality-assured development in an agile environment.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software, addressing both feature enhancements and bug fixes, while also conducting refactorings as needed.
  • Perform diverse tests (unit, integration, acceptance) to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Develop and manage web service APIs, including handling HTTP status codes and responses for REST and SOAP calls, with thorough testing.
  • Design and maintain shipping documents, including shipping labels and other carrier-specific requirements.
  • Develop XML transformations for diverse requirements within the solution. Work with relational databases SQL Server and Oracle for script generation and module development.
  • Design and implement user interfaces with an understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Actively participate in meetings, closely collaborating with the team, Product Owner and Team Lead to ensure timely and successful deliveries.
