Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer (f/m/d) experienced in DevOps and IT, you will have a key role in delivering excellence to the users of HANA Cloud and other cloud solutions from SAP, with emphasis on Kubernetes clusters and specialized VM technology deployed to, AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will also assist our R&D with their development servers. You will be part of the Level-3/Delivery team that is responsible for SAP’s Production environment in the various Hyper-Scalers

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Apply your experience with Linux, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, helm, Grafana, and Jenkins.
  • Streamlining Cloud processes through scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Go, and Jenkins.
  • Implement knowledge of automation processes, tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Regulate permissions, VM capacity, etc., on AWS, Azure, GCP accounts.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks within Kubernetes clusters and Linux servers.
  • Handling IT tasks for teams, resolving issues with developer servers, storage, backups, and networks on a higher-level topics such as nulls, secrets, technical users, build environments for C code.
  • Weekend work will be required at times (maintenance windows, mostly); Shift work (after hours) also expected.
