Description:

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • PhD/Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, medical engineering or any other relevant discipline
  • Professional experience in embedded software development, ideally in an agile environment Good understanding of test-driven development and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge about continuous integration and test and related automation tasks
  • Deep knowledge of C and C++ usage on tightly resource limited target HW
  • Good knowledge of Python ideally for testing use cases
  • Good knowledge of the ARM Cortex-M controller and fixed-point arithmetic Experience in digital audio signal processing would be an added advantage
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of debugging with embedded debug tools would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems would be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Embedded software development on ultra-low power custom SoCs in an agile team Implementation and maintenance of multi-processor hearing instrument applications including signal processing algorithms
  • Cycle, power and memory optimization of existing applications
  • Close collaboration with interdisciplinary platform development team (ASIC, Signal Processing, System Engineering)
  • Contribution to the development of medical devices, according to relevant quality standards e.g. IEC 62304 Qualification
