Responsibilities:

AN OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Acting as a key part of a customer focused and industry leading Development function, the Developer will ensure Open GI provides a leading software development service. Working within a close-knit Delivery team, the Developer will be responsible for delivering new developments and enhancements, supporting Open GI’s current technical estate.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver software working as part of cross-functional delivery team
  • Implement improvements in working practices
  • Demonstrate continuous awareness of emerging market trends
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers
  • Propose and implement new technologies and techniques
  • Engage with customers in Technical Requirements Workshops, daily stand-ups, bi-weekly demos and customer handovers
  • Act in the role of a key Delivery team member, proactively picking up tasks
  • Deliver new customer requirements quickly, reliably, and efficiently
  • Contribute to a continually improving Agile software development framework
  • Liaise with Business Analysts, Developers and QA’s to establish requirements and resolve operational issues
