Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential development opportunities in target markets.
  • Analyze market trends, demand drivers, and competitive landscape to inform acquisition strategy.
  • Evaluate feasibility and financial viability of potential projects through detailed financial modeling and risk assessment.

Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:

  • Proactively source and evaluate new development opportunities, including hotel acquisitions, ground-up developments, and conversion projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Assess potential acquisitions based on factors such as location, market dynamics, asset quality, and return on investment.

Due Diligence and Negotiation:

  • Coordinate due diligence efforts, including property inspections, legal reviews, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, business plans, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with sellers, landlords, and other parties to secure favorable terms and conditions for acquisitions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of acquisition transactions.
  • Provide strategic input and guidance to support project development and execution post-acquisition.
  • Act as a liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and alignment of objectives.
