Description:
A fast-growing Irish Food Business wants to hire a dynamic Chef with strong culinary and process skills to enhance their team. The role will be Dublin based and will suit someone looking to work mainly weekdays 9.00am to 5.30 pm. The person needs to have great presentation and time management skills who interacts well with others and has a creative ability.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Present our Products in customer food presentations, trade shows, and internal meetings.
- Run and report the weekly food tasting panels inhouse for new product development and quality.
- This role will require regular travel to meet clients, understand their needs, and display our innovative solutions.
- Work with our marketing team to create in house recipe and menu ideas and imagery to use across our social media platforms and other marketing materials and collateral.
- Develop and create new food concepts using our wide range of food products for the Deli, Fast Food and Foodservice markets.
- Reviewing competitor competing and NPD products.
- Manage and keep all aspects of the development kitchen.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Development Chef experience is essential or equivalent food experience.
- Product Cook-off and presentation experience.
- Passionate about food.
- Great presenter.
- Keeps up to date with evolving food trends.
- Will need a clean drivers license and can travel abroad on occasion.
