Development Engineer (m/m/d) in Advanced Development of Battery Syste

Your Responsibilities

  • Development of technical concepts for future lithium-ion battery systems
  • Development of innovative technical solutions at system level
  • Preparation of technology studies, research and preliminary investigations on the subject of lithium-ion battery systems
  • Technical evaluation and comparison of battery systems
  • Requirement definition of future battery systems based on market requirements and customer discussions
  • Collaboration on innovation projects at BorgWarner and coordination of cooperation with other specialist departments

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering (electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering) or a comparable
  • Professional experience in the field of battery systems or electrical powertrains preferred
  • Knowledge in the field of innovation management
  • Professional experience, especially in the field of system development
  • Interest in new technologies and willingness to acquire knowledge independently
  • Good analytical skills with a structured way of working and a high degree of self-organization
  • Good communication skills in German and English
