Your Tasks

• You are part of complex R&D projects concerning the manufacturing of one of the key components of PEM electrolyzers - the catalyst-coated membrane. Here, you are responsible for the technical management of assigned work packages.
• You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and interpretation of test series for coating, drying, and transfer tests using techniques for optimized test series design, for example, Design of Experiments.
• You will improve existing processes and establish new methods, techniques, or processes.
• You will collaborate closely with other departments and coordinate activities with internal and external partners.

Your Profile

• You have a university degree (Master’s or PhD) in a field such as chemical engineering, process engineering, thermodynamics, or production engineering.
• Your expert knowledge in homogenization, coating, and/or drying techniques is a valuable asset.
• You have a basic understanding of electrochemistry and polymer chemistry.
• You have several years of prior work experience in the manufacturing of cells for electrolyzers, fuel cells, or batteries, during which you have worked with industrial-scale processes.
• You operate safely in a laboratory setting.
• You possess a high degree of independence and a sense of responsibility, are quick to grasp new concepts, and enjoy analytical and creative activities.
• You are fluent in English, with knowledge of German being optional.
• You are a team player.
