POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Development Lead, you will spend 70% of your time writing code and working within a delivery squad, and 30% mentoring senior, intermediate, and junior engineers.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work across various transformative projects, lead a talented group of developers, and contribute to the creation of a new energy future.

You will mentor and develop high-performing engineers, fostering a productive and collaborative working environment. This includes 1:1s, coaching, and providing professional development opportunities to software developers.
Identify strengths and skill gaps for engineers, and facilitate knowledge transfer and upskilling. Proactively help engineers improve their technical and soft skills.
Act as a communication channel between developers, squads, and teams – spot trends and wider issues, proactively raise them up, and help to improve our ways of working and outcomes.
You will write efficient, maintainable code in Java and using AWS technologies.
