Development Lead/ Technical Architect Manufacturing

We are currently seeking a Development Lead to take on the role of Full Stack Developer and Technical Architect for our custom development platform
As the Technical Architect and development lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our technical deliverables, defining the development and coding approach, and leading the agile delivery teams through technical decisions and challenges to ensure our implementation meets the functional and non-functional requirements while establishing a future-proof and component-based platform architecture.
The technical components of our custom development platform include Oracle or MS SQL as the database, .Net as the back-end, and Angular as the front-end technology. On this custom Unilin development platform, different teams are developing and maintaining various manufacturing applications, such as MES, WMS for WIP products, logistics automation solutions, solutions to manage tools used in manufacturing, camera applications, and many others.

This includes the following responsibilities:

• Assume leadership over our custom development platform and define the architectural guardrails. Own & establish a future proof and component-based platform architecture.
• Define together with the product owners, solution and domain architect a future oriented vision, strategy & roadmap for the technical components
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and other architects to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Stay up to date with latest technology and software development trends and innovations. Have a network of peers at other manufacturing companies, system integrators and technology vendors
• Manage the platform from technological standpoint. Initiate, plan and perform platform transformations and lifecycle activities on time
• Manage technical risk related to complexity, security, data integration, scalability, and performance.
• Define priorities and objectives for Oracle DBA.
• Support the agile delivery teams in defining and documenting project technical requirements; leading, enforcing and defining development standards
• Looks at technical synergies across different products & solutions developed on the platform
• Improve the developer experience and flow by providing tools, onboarding documentation & development best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the development process, increase development flow, and enhance the overall quality of the our custom solutions
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, functional analysts and developers to support different manufacturing applications.

• Collaboration with other platform architects of the other teams in order to leverage best practices, tools, processes and technologies where relevant or to define common integration principlesOwns and manage licenses of the platform, components & development tools

• The role of platform architect will be combined with the role of full stack developer
