We are looking for a Development Manager to join the team developing AviMet at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. AviMet is a software platform providing complete aviation weather management and safe airport operations in all weather conditions. • You’ll be operational lead a development team of 13 seasoned software development professionals, and have ownership of getting things done in high quality and in-time with the team
• You’ll closely collaborate with product management, and product owner in defining the requirements and priorities
• You’ll work with UX designers and documentation professionals supporting the team
• You’ll ensure that the team members have an environment where they can be best versions of themselves by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
• You’ll manage the team budget, recruitments and competence development
• You’ll coach the team in making decisions on technical choices and architecture
