Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Leads the creation, implementation, and optimization of software tools in support of various domains including design, manufacturing, validation, silicon production, systems integration, software application products, or ecosystem enabling. Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products. Examples of tools/systems include debuggers, analyzers, SDKs, IDEs, PDKs, performance monitors, software tools and libraries, flows, and/or methodologies for design, manufacturing, validation, and test.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Debugger and Trace Tool Products team is primary located in Munich/Germany and we want to increase our team in Poland. Our responsibility is the development of debuggers and embedded software development products being optimized for the Intel architectures. These debuggers and products are used to create applications for the next generation of internet of things (IOT), mobile phones, tablets, embedded devices, desktop computers and servers in conjunction with multiple platforms and operating systems. Are you into tinkering and playing with hardware? Do you enjoy working with bleeding edge technology and braving the path forward? We are searching for an Development Tools Software engineer with Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. As member of the Systems Integration Team you will be responsible for test system development and test system automation. You strive for high test coverage in order to deliver stable and reliable SW tools to our customers and users. You will be responsible for Continuous Integration infrastructure development and maintenance, configuration and preparation for debug and trace tools development. Besides programming skills, you need experience in working with different operating systems like Windows and Linux and its different distributions. Your qualifications should include: - Experience in SW validation and testing - Experience within at least one programming language Java, C#, Python - Experience with Linux and Windows OS development environments - Experience in using debuggers - Used to working with Batch, PowerShell and Bash - Good debugging and problem solving skills - Fluent English language capability in SW scope - Good team player and communication skills - Self-education and self-development The following qualifications would be add advantages: - Experience in containerized software engineering - Experience in open source software engineering - Experience in embedded software specifics
