DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • You will have contributed to service planning, review, research, and evaluation in relation to individuals with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Be able to identify networking opportunities to facilitate knowledge transfer
  • You will have adapted communication styles and be able to identify strategies to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Previous experience working in collaboration with Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to ensure positive programming and person-centred active support.
  • Understand compliance with NDIS reporting requirements.
  • You will have understanding and awareness of forensic, psychosocial, and other disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of the General Manager, you will provide specialist development assessments and intervention programmes for adults with disabilities and mental health issues. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide professional consultancy, advice, and educational services. Furthermore, you will contribute to service development, review and evaluation to support best practice and quality service delivery to people with disabilities and complex needs.
