POSITION SUMMARY:

As a devOps Consultant, you will be directly working with the client’s team bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, enabling efficient, reliable and scalable deployment of applications. You will need to understand client’s unique requirements, architect robust devOps solutions and guide the teams to get the approvals for their products from internal security teams. The ideal candidate is someone self-driven, autonomous, and eager to learn and grow. This is a wonderful opportunity to refactor and create a product from a solution that is used by many customers and then develop as a Cloud application.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Extensive Azure Pipelines - configure and use for CI/CD processes including builds, releases, artifacts etc.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLabCI.
• Expertise with Containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes including cluster management, deployment strategies and scaling.
• Strong understanding of version controls such as Git, github, BitBucket.
• Good Knowledge of Front-End Engineering.
• Good Micro Services Architecture using C# and Dot Net
• Proficient of infrastructure as code tools such as terraform.
• Proficient of ARM templates and azure monitoring and be able to create custom templates.
• Understanding of Core services (compute, storage, networking)
• Able to create pipelines leveraging templates.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Databricks and Databricks Platform Administration.
• Conduct the Disaster Recovery Drills and identify any bottlenecks of the applications.
• Researching and evaluating client’s system needs to identify technology and process limitations and be able to provide advice and guidance for automation.

• Interpret user-requirement specifications and technical designs to build software components.
• Developing and maintaining program code to meet solution requirements using various tools and technologies, including but not restricted to Python, Terraform C Sharp, PowerShell.
• Testing, debugging and correcting issues with the existing software solutions.
• Testing and writing technical documentation to ensure, effective and efficient production deployments as well as ease of understanding and maintenance of the software solution.
• Manage allocated client portfolio(s) in entirety and ensure all client expectations are met
• Designing, developing, and deploying cloud native solutions, for clients, on cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Researching and evaluating IT system needs to identify technology and process limitations and be able to provide advice and guidance for software design and upgrades.
• Ensure the products generated by the team are of high standards.
• Improve the team’s efficiency and scalability using latest technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with the team to manage the backlog.
• Join calls and interact with our customers and understand their needs.
• Develop your own skills through self-learning and training.

  Salary Range: $80,000- $95,000
