Cludo’s easy-to-use platform is used by marketing teams and developers at some of the biggest brands across the globe to gain insights and analytics about what their end users are looking for on their website, intranet, e-commerce, mobile app, federated and enterprise search solutions. With two global locations, Cludo is excited to hire a DevOps Engineer in our Copenhagen, Denmark office.
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE FROM YOU
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps or something similar
- Experience of design, deployment, and scaling production environments on a large scale
- Experience with Elasticsearch cluster management is a must
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in directly managing Linux servers
- Experience with AWS related technologies (I.e., EC2, EKS, ECS, ELB, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Cloud infrastructure principles such as load balancing, high availability, server/serverless architecture, and database configurations
- Experience with DevOps practices like CI/CD, ideally with technologies including GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of SLI/SLO/SLAs, monitoring and alerting best practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a DevOps engineer at Cludo you will assume co-ownership & control over our infrastructure, together with the rest of our tech team and our CTO, Dave Babayan, who is this person’s manager. You will be in charge of designing and operating a robust, scalable infrastructure on AWS. Developing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines. Ensuring stability, scalability and security of Cludo’s platform. You will work closely with the management team on identifying new opportunities, risk mitigation and iterative improvements to the overall platform. You will approach operations with a development mindset. 50% of your time will be aimed at operational work while the other 50% will be spent on engineering work to reduce future operational work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Migrating to infrastructure as code
- Support and maintaining existing AWS infrastructure
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- Scale infrastructure as we continue to grow
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
- Provide primary operational support and engineering
- Actively participate in sprint planning
