DevOps Engineer (DevOps Tooling)

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

You will play a key part in the Bank’s strategic aim of improving the velocity of change!
Our Tooling Management capability is responsible for the running of the “Integrated Developer Platform”. The Platform Operations team manage our nascent Site Reliability Engineering capability.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Develop and implement a robust DevOps framework that promotes continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Design, build, and manage the infrastructure and configuration management systems required for efficient development and deployment, including cloud platforms, servers, networks, and monitoring tools.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication between development, operations, and other collaborators to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. Create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Implement and maintain compliant security measures and standard methodologies throughout the DevOps process
• Identify process improvements, and implement tools and technologies to streamline operations, and reduce manual efforts.
