QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps role, or similar.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willing to occasionally travel as part of the role.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a DevOps Engineer at Polarium, you will play a critical role in bridging software development, quality assurance, and IT operations. You will enhance our CI/CD pipelines, ensure system reliability, and drive deployments in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work closely with software developers and other IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
  • Enhance system reliability and efficiency through automation.
  • Manage infrastructure as code and ensure security best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
  • Continuously improve our operational processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning and pre-study for new technologies or system upgrades.
