We are now looking for a

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a DevOps Engineer you work will ensure our DevOps tools are setup right to support internal and external work on the same codebase. This includes setting up and maintaining automatic testing pipelines where needed. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests and we offer possibility to develop proof-of-concepts from customer needs on cloud-based data platform which can later be productised. You’ll be working as a part Energy Services Product Management and Offering Development Team.

AS DEVOPS ENGINEER, DIGITAL PRODUCTS & AUTONOMOUS OPERATIONS, YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure our DevOps tools are setup right to support internal and external work on the same codebase.
• Set up and maintain automatic testing pipelines
• Develop proof-of-concepts from customer needs on cloud based data platform
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and engage with customers, suppliers and partners
• Be a role model and drive our Wärtsilä values and purpose

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant area
• Excellent skills in digital development and relevant digital technologies
• Solid understanding of different operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) communication protocols
• Ability to communicate DevOps pipelines with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Strive to deliver digital capabilities that have clear business value
• Analytical skills, as well as creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think outside-the-box and challenge conventional ways of working
• Mentality of a team player with high integrity, good listening skills and software development-oriented mindset
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Experience in solution business seen as a plus
• Experience of agile, design thinking or service design methodology
