DevOps Engineer – Edge Computing (m/f/x)

YOUR PROFILE

You should have experience and qualities in the following areas:

• Experience with Linux distributions, preferably including Raspbian OS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Ansible and Helm.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Object-oriented programming experience in languages such as Python and C++.
• Fluent in English.
• A fast learner with a drive to find the best solutions for new technical challenges.

In addition, it would be great if you have the following qualities:

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of certificate management.
• Familiarity with Identity Access Management (IAM).

Your tasks will include, among others:

• Enhancing and automating the provisioning and operation of edge servers to enable goodBytz to ramp up production.
• Improving and maintaining the deployment pipeline to quickly roll out new features to customers.
• Supporting the software team in CI/CD, especially by creating and improving staging environments.
• Over time, establishing and maintaining the use of cloud services.
