DevOps Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The DevOps Engineer will perform activities associated with development, implementation, integration, and support of computer systems in a mission-critical response operation environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of relevant programming and development & operations experience
• Microservice, serverless, data processing, and automation experience
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in developing in a hybrid cloud services environment.
• Experience working with Git, AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, SQS, Splunk, etc.
• Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• AWS or Azure Cloud experience
• Strong Communication skills

EDUCATION: (PREFERRED)

• B.S. in Computer Science, STEM, or demonstrated experience as a backend/software engineer.

• Formulate and define specifications for complex applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacture.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for programs.
• Assist on all phases of software programming applications, development, and operations.
• Evaluate new and existing software products.
• Evaluate re-usability of current data for additional analyses.
• Conducted design/development activities in an Agile project management environment.
