For our EMEA Software, Solutions and Services function, we are looking for a technically skilled DevOps Engineer to join a small, flexible and agile team focused on continuous technical support and service delivery to our utility customers in Europe as well as worldwide. The primary location is Katowice, Poland, or Prague/Ostrava, Czech Republic.
As an engineer for system software (head-end systems for advanced energy metering solutions for industrial customers, B2B), you provide in-depth analysis, resolution of operational issues, software upgrades/migrations and development services. You will act as an interface between customer service teams, sales engineers and our internal experts from R&D, Project & Product Management, and provide support to customers and sales engineers on the best use of our products. Together with the team you provide support for software development and release teams ensuring that testing and development environments are used efficiently. You also manage deployment environments and support testing activities.

• Develop, build, test and integrate Landis+Gyr software solutions into our industrial customers’ critical infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud based (Google)
• Be responsible for providing high quality customer service through close collaboration with other internal stakeholders (product management, R&D, project delivery team, etc.)
• Resolve known and unknown problems with the best ability, focus on root-cause analysis to resolve a problem, and escalate to more senior members of the team as appropriate
• Provide information regarding customer incident toR&D to be able to initiate problem resolution
• Use remote access systems for investigation and troubleshooting on customer consent
• Propose workarounds, technical notes and knowledge articles
