REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably in an environment involving hardware and software interactions.
- Proven experience in CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Excellent scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with testing simulations and automation in complex systems.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a DevOps Engineer at Filics, you will join a multi-national team of top-tier Software and Robotics Engineers. Your primary mission is to empower the development teams by establishing seamless automation and integration processes that streamline the deployment and management of our robotics software and infrastructure. Your efforts will have a profound impact on our entire robotics system as you develop and maintain the infrastructure that supports the high-performance requirements of our autonomous systems. Your role involves applying traditional DevOps methodologies and innovating new practices tailored to the unique challenges of robotics
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems tailored for robotics applications.
- Develop automation strategies to enhance the efficiency of development cycles and the reliability of deployments on robotic systems.
- Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of updates to robotic platforms.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of both software environments and physical robotic operations.
- Engage in proactive system testing and problem resolution to support safety-critical operations within our robots.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team, advocating for best practices in DevOps and continuous improvement.
