QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, with a strong focus on infrastructure as code.
  • Extensive experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Strong background in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
  • Proven track record of managing and supporting B2B products in a production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum SDLC.

Responsibilities:

ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer at Formula.Monks, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of innovative SaaS platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure, automation, and continuous deployment practices. Your expertise in infrastructure as code and proficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP will be instrumental in driving the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform. You will guide our clients and stakeholders in best practices in order to achieve project success in addition to contributing to the growth of a great company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect, implement and manage a multi-tenant SaaS platform across multiple cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop and maintain robust infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, deployment, and testing processes for SaaS applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in a production environment.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive detection and resolution of system issues.
  • Champion best practices for site reliability engineering (SRE), including incident management, post-mortems, and capacity planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, security, and resilience of SaaS platforms.
  • Work on remote distributed, cross-functional agile teams to train and educate clients and stakeholders on industry best practices.
