QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Expertise: 6+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in Automation Tools: Knowledge of automation software (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate the software deployment and monitoring process.
  • Cloud Services Expertise: Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for managing and scaling applications.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) to manage microservices efficiently.
  • Version Control Systems: Proficiency in version control systems like Git to manage code changes.
  • Proactivity: Independent self-starter with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of initiative.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and resourceful enough to get the job done with a small but mighty team. You will be pivotal in streamlining and automating the software development cycle, ensuring quick, secure, and efficient delivery of our applications.
This role involves managing cloud-based infrastructures, implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
You will collaborate closely with development teams to foster a culture of innovation and to maintain the highest standards of security and privacy essential in the healthcare sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Automating and Optimizing Processes: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring scalable and secure environments for application deployment.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
  • Tool and Technology Evaluation: Research, recommend, and implement tools and technologies to improve the reliability, efficiency, and quality of the development and deployment processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software development and QA teams to ensure a seamless and rapid flow of changes into production, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously assess system performance, implement optimizations, and scale resources to meet demand while effectively managing costs.
