ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field;
  • Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role;
  • Experience with CI/CD systems and deployment strategies;
  • Good knowledge of Ruby, Python, or system scripting languages (e.g. bash and family);
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or AWS CloudFormation;
  • Knowledge of USE and RED methods and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Loki;
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL;
  • Familiarity with SysOps and troubleshooting skills;
  • Problem-solving attitude;
  • Team spirit;
  • Curious nature, keeping up with the latest trends in design and technology;
  • Good verbal & written communication skills in English.

You might also have:

  • Background working in an agile environment;
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help our developers with their code while understanding engineering best practices. Your effort ensures that everything runs smoothly before releasing code onto production servers. The engineering team experience will be significantly improved with your work. This will allow us to ship quality software faster to solve our patients’ problems, and you will directly impact their health! If this makes sense, keep reading!

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Define DevOps strategies for existing and newly created healthcare products;
  • Identify and drive opportunities for continual improvement of the cloud infrastructure and services – for example, for resilience, security, performance or cost management;
  • Scale existing infrastructure to increase customer demands while being compliant with regulatory and security needs in healthcare;
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience;
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors;
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance;
  • Ensure healthcare data privacy and security (ISO27001) measures are applied in all workflows;
  • Implement a seamless development and deployment process, to ensure a direct impact on the team productivity;
  • Collaborate with our development and engineering teams to help design and implement cloud solutions;
  • Create an impact on how code is delivered and deployed;
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines for internal engineering teams;
  • Write maintainable and clean automation code.
