Role

As DevOps Engineer you are part of the Software Factory team (R&D), you will be part of a team specialized in Site Reliability Engineering.

• You will take care of the maintenance and development of the entire Development Operations infrastructure.
• Investigate cloud-related solutions and the management and analysis of parameters coming from the entire DevOps process to use as a performance indicator
• Help shape and maintain the integration process of our open-source solution

You will also work together with teams in other countries, like Tunesia and India.

Required skills

• Eager to learn
• Dare to come up with proposals independently and do not shy away from taking initiative
• Team-minded working, especially inter-teams

• Knowledge of English is a must, knowledge of Dutch highly recommended

  Profile:

• By preference a Bachelor or Master in information technology

• Knowledge of DevOps processes and associated systems:
• Kubernetes
• Gitlab
• Jenkins
• docker
• …
• Experience with integrations of different software deliverables
• Smooth communication with the OpenSource community
• Knowledge of scripting languages, mainly python, but to some extent also bash, groovy, perl and tcl. Some knowledge of C is desirable for analyzing problems that arise in integrations.

• Several years of experience is a plus, given the interaction with different teams and the courage to direct developers when identifying regression issues

  The Wijgmaal office is located in a charming green environment, close to a train station and only 5 km from the historical city of Leuven.
