Description:
DESCRIPTION
Zen Strategics, a niche Cyber Security Firm, is looking for a DEVOPS Engineer
- Demonstrated experience with the security features of the Microsoft 365 platform, such as hybrid identity solution, endpoint protection and information protection
- At least 2 years’ experience supporting M365 suite of applications and knowledge of domain and mail routing
- Demonstrated experience with endpoint management via modern MDM platforms such as Intune
- Demonstrated understanding of the Zero Trust principles in general and how they apply to the M365 platform
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive highly desirable
Requirements:
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience supporting DHS Agencies
- Software development practices like DevOps , DevSecOPs and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Familiarity with macOS security and management frameworks, and integration into Windows-based enterprise networks
- Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE etc.
- Ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to clearly communicate with both customers and teammates and provide recommendations for improvements to existing software applications
- Experience working in an agile development environment
Years of Experience:
- 7 years of experience in engineering, developing and deploying IT systems. At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Engineer on the M365 platform of services
Education: Master’s degree in a technical discipline desired. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is required
Certifications: · Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification highly desired· Any other M365/Azure role-based security certifications, such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Management Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator are a plus
Location: This position may be staffed at the Government’s facility in Williston, VT or in the Washington, DC area, or other locations in the United States with approval by the Government
