Description:

We currently have a vacancy for a DevOps Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 9 years;
  • Experience with DevOps container/orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes);
  • Experience in at least a programming language (e.g. JAVA, Python, Bash, Perl);
  • Experience in automating various types of tests, using CI/CD pipelines, configuration as code, infrastructure as code;
  • Proven working experience in cloud security architecture and security requirements;
  • Proficiency in operating Java-based IT applications relying on an RDMBS (e.g. Oracle RDMBS);
  • Good knowledge of continuous delivery and Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, SVN, Git, Nexus);
  • Solid experience in HashiCorp Vault and Entrust nShield HSMs or similar technologies;
  • Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and upgrade DevOps pipelines and promote the usage of DevOps methodologies for IT projects;
  • Facilitate the continuous delivery of IT applications by using Application Lifecycle Management and automation tools;
  • Manage changes, including assessing risks and identifying impacts;
  • Liaison with infrastructure, security, cloud and development teams;
  • Operate micro service and legacy applications, both on premise and on AWS cloud. In particular, perform recurring/planned operations activities and react on monitoring alerts;
  • Advisory and alignment with release management, version control and branching Strategy;
  • Setup and maintain monitoring of systems and applications, as necessary to support availability, security, capacity and performance management for all operated systems;
  • Decommissioning of environments (legacy applications or infrastructure components, once obsolete);
  • Product launch support;
  • Technical/System-level certificate management (TLS, QWAC).
