Global Connectivity is the team that designs, builds and operates the core network infrastructure of NXP. We are a diverse mix with over a hundred network professionals in different levels of seniority that support our network infrastructure and the related components. In our current evolution we transform into a state-of-the-art network capability and are looking for the right talent to help us in our journey .

YOUR NEW ROLE

• As part of the global role, work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, and application teams, to implement security controls and address security requirements.
• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability.
• Perform network troubleshooting, monitoring, and capacity planning to proactively address network issues and optimize performance.
• Implement network security best practices and protocols, including access control, encryption, and threat mitigation techniques.
• Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and services to meet current and future network requirements.
• Show ownership and drive issues to conclusion including post-mortem phase, identifying root causes and improvement actions.
• Stay up to date with the latest network security technologies, trends, and threats. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement security enhancements proactively.
